The time has come to start giving my all to my love for photography! It will be my best or not at all!
Since 2010 I have been studying, learning, passing and FAILING a lot in the photography world. It started out as a hobby and quickly grew into emails and phone calls from friends and family wanting to set up a session. Working a full time job to support my two boys made it hard to balance my hobby and my real life job.
Over time it became hectic and not fun anymore. Like most new things we come out of the gate doing mach speeds and sometimes run right into a ditch! There is no doubt that is what happened to me. There wasn't enough time for learning and creating and enjoyment anymore, so I backed off.
I had became just another person that managed to purchase a fancy camera and called myself a photographer. Boy was I wrong! It takes courage, guts, personality, passion, skill, creativity, and knowledge- a lot of it! Learning how to correct my colors and skin tones is a major challenge if you're clueless, let me tell you!
Although I never stopped wanting more, I couldn't afford the fancy equipment everyone else had or the money to buy the fancy actions that seemed to be the thing to do at the time. I have to admit It took a little time to realize that all those things weren't necessary to move forward and that they were excuses for me not trying out of fear of failure.
Kudos to those that understand photshop and have taken the time to make those actions! I agree that they're very creative and make workflow much faster. Eventually I would like to share some of my own actions with the photography world.
With that being said, I will move forward learning and enjoying my photography and will only produce the best results! I hope that myself and others can enjoy the creative process here on my facebook page as I grow! Thanks to everyone that supports me now and all the ones that helped me get here.
