Vermont non-profit committed to protecting, improving and enhancing the ecological, recreational, and community values of the Waterbury Reservoir (VT)
The Waterbury Reservoir is an 830-acre lake, approximately 6.5 miles long, located within the town of Waterbury, Vermont. There are four access roadways in the Waterbury / Stowe area. The Reservoir is controlled by a dam on the southern shores which serves as flood mitigation for the Winooski River valley and is managed by Green Mountain Power Corp. The Reservoir is a rich ecological and recreational resource bordered by State forest lands, two State parks, and private lands.
