I create, because I can't sleep! My passion is to create new treasures by using only vintage items - transforming them into something totally different :)

Contradictions aren't always a bad thing.....

Even though I do a lot of writing in my "real" job, I have been remiss in at least beginning to introduce my little shop to my family, friends, and future friends :)

I am a contradiction of myself. I am Coach Bobby Bowden's Publicist by day (for almost 5 1/2 years already!) dealing with sports writers and reporters, football coaches, former players, sports radio producers and talent, universities, etc - basically 90% "alpha males". Lol. (Love them ALL!)

I usually have a hard time sleeping at night. So - I began painting the furniture in the house, painting the hideous tile in the foyer (yes, I painted the tile foyer floor - and that was at least 5 years ago - and maybe 1 little chip!), and transitioned into making little "treasures" as I like to call them. I've always loved vintage and feminine things.. (china, silver, fabulous lighting...)

So you can see where I seem to live in two very different worlds.

But I have decided that if this new venture is going to work, I have to integrate it into my current life and career -- basically expose myself as a "girlie girl" deep down. As I type that, I begin to waiver --- almost hitting the delete key... but, NO, I will be strong and admit that it IS possible to work in sports - know more about football than most men - AND love to design and create repurposed vintage items that some may call "girlie".

If it doesn't work out... I'll just punt!
