Hi,

I have been teaching guitar to residents of Hunterdon and Bucks Counties and surrounding areas for many years. I was raised in a family of artists ... musicians, painters, sculptors & writers. I have been playing guitar and bass professionally and recreationally for more than 40 yrs. I've had some formal training but mostly informal instruction from having spent a lifetime in the company of professional and academic musicians.

In addition to being skilled at tutoring both children and adults, I teach guitar and bass guitar in private lessons and groups. I teach most musical styles, including rock, blues, country & pop on electric and acoustic with attention to either plectrum or finger style. Also I teach standard notational sight reading in either treble or bass clef (and tablature as well) as well as music theory regarding scales, chord construction, etc. if desired.

My specialty is customizing lessons to teach the student what they want to learn using the music they love in addition to other inspiring instructional material taking each student as far as they want to go and having fun along the way.
