ADOLESCENT AND ADULT ACUTE INPATIENT SERVICES:
(Adolescent units: 12 -17 y/o / Adult units: 18 + y/o)
Our specialized units provide short term programs for individuals needing a safe, structured, therapeutic environment for the diagnosis and treatment of severe psychiatric issues. Our partnership with the Tulane University School of Medicine uses cutting edge therapies and treatments to ensure a successful discharge to the next level of care.
ADOLESCENT PSYCHIATRIC RESIDENTIAL SERVICES:
Our Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) is designed for adolescent males and females who require intensive and structured treatment for emotional, behavioral, psychological, and co-occurring substance abuse problems. Treatment includes intensive individual and family sessions, frequent sessions with a psychiatrist, adjunctive therapy, and medication management when required. Residents also participate in activities like sports, arts and crafts and have access to the large and expansive park-like setting. While in the program residents attend an on-site licensed school through the Louisiana Department of Education Special School District #1.
OUTPATIENT PROGRAMS:
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is designed as a step down from an inpatient setting or as a resource to avoid inpatient hospitalization. PHP meets six hours a day for 4 - 5 days a week.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is designed as a step down from the PHP program, meeting 2 - 3 days a week. Conveniently scheduled to accommodate work schedules and community reintegration, IOP is a treatment option for those who need more than once a week outpatient services.
