Pitch Pipe Studios is located in Shallowater, TX and specializes in on-location professional multitrack recording all over the U.S.

Pitch Pipe Studios is owned and operated by Gary Moyers and based in Shallowater, TX, just north of Lubbock. While his home may be there, the majority of his work for the Pipe is done on the road, recording groups all over the U.S.

Gary has a wide range of experience in regard to audio production. If your interests lay in the world of a cappella, Gary’s got your ticket. For over a decade, he was a member of internationally known Christian singing group Acappella. Gary served as Road Manager and tenor for the group for several years. Roles and voice parts changed over the years and by the year 2000, Gary had toured around the world and performed over 1400 concerts.

Gary would spend much of his non-touring time in the recording studio, both as performer and producer. By the time his touring days were over, he had recorded 11 albums under the name Acappella, performed on and/or produced more than 30 other albums, and achieved a triple platinum status on the sales of the Acappella Company catalog.

If you’re needing someone with experience in the instrumental world, we’ve got you covered there as well. Gary is comfortable on cello, guitar, mandolin, fiddle and banjo and dabbles with a few other instruments as well. He’s been a member of multiple bands of varying styles and has worked as engineer on several recordings, both from Pitch Pipe Studios and Studio 84 (where he still works as an engineer and producer).
