Katahdin Sheep

Katahdin sheep are a wonderful, easy care sheep, which is why we love raising them! They have hair coats instead of the traditional wool coat, so there is no hassle with shearing, or crutching, and no need to dock tails. They are very parasite resistant and rarely need to be wormed. In fact, we have only wormed the entire herd twice. Katahdins also have a much less muttony taste than many of the wool breeds, and are a delicious dining experience.
