Rockville USA was originally designed with two ideas mind. To create a high quality, mid sized recording studio as its primary function. The second, a multimedia production house to support the film and digital media boom southern New England was perpetuating and experiencing in the early part of this century.

As a recording facility, Rockville USA was designed with all the sonic considerations in place. Its layout is acoustically sound, and fifteen foot ceilings add to this. The look of the studio is classic. The idea that you can be inspired visually to lay down your best music in the moment of capture was the theory behind this best of both worlds. Good sound with good looks.

The recording / rehearsal space model provides an inexpensive recording experience for bands still honing their song list or working out new material. Bands come in to rehearse and are recorded live. They have the option to cut a live demo or simply use the recordings to review the progress. All this for costing not much more than a rented rehearsal space.

As a pro drum tracking room our studio is a contender to work with big league bands. The high ceilings and tuned, semi live walls allow for great drum capture, the first step in the deliberate process of producing the best sound quality, starting with the drums. Good drum capture, especially in rock is a primary consideration while building the foundation to a successful recording.

In addition to being a full capacity multi-track recording studio, we produce high-end video, graphics, and packaging. We have access to live performance opportunities and distribution partners. Our model reflects the new age that today’s artists share.
