Steele Farm, as it`s now known, has it`s origins in the 1740`s with Abel Bliss. Today it is preserved by Jackie & Bill Steele, and is being restored back.
Steele Farm is about helping local people as we embark on our hydroponics gardening and reaching our goal of growing the best food and vegetables possible for our neighbors at an affordable price. We also have a variety of farm animals all of whom are rescues and were headed for a short future, and we demonstrate our antique farm equipment and gas engines, using them where they are needed here on the farm. We will be using some old and some forgotten technology on our place, and will be teaching about them here, along with local history also. Our house was built in 1744, so explore with us as we research and dig up the history around us.
