Vollmecke Orchards is a 37-acre family farm dedicated to bringing our customers the finest quality fruits, vegetables, and farm products.

At Vollmecke Orchards, we grow high-quality, wholesome food, harvested at peak ripeness and flavor. To us, the word quality means produce rich in flavor and high in nutritional content. How it is raised, not necessarily a perfect appearance, matters a great deal to us. Think of those beautiful, yet absolutely tasteless tomatoes you can buy in the grocery store… . We grow all of our vegetables naturally, without the use of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, genetically modified organisms or sewage sludge—we have a deep respect for our land, and want to do everything we can to preserve and nurture it. In our orchards, we practice IPM (Integrated Pest Management), choosing to apply cultural techniques where possible rather than use synthetic chemical sprays. We use our own compost extensively in growing our fruits and vegetables. Soil health and fertility is further enhanced through the use of diverse cover cropping.

We have CSA Fruit & Vegetable shares available, as well as retail sales. We offer organically grown vegetables, grass fed beef products, locally made yogurt, fresh eggs from our Happy (pasture-raised) Hens.
