Appalachian Hula Academy of Ohio and Kuumba Dance Center have joined together to form the Zanesville Multicultural Dance Center.

Pre-Registration Required

Monday
5:15 pm Beginning Keiki Hula

Tuesday
5:15 pm Beginning Adult Hula
6:15 pm Beginning West African

Thursday
5:15 pm Beginning West African
6:15 pm Beginning Adult Hula

Attire
Wahine (female): T-shirt & pau skirt
Kane (male): T-shirt, surf shorts or sweatpants.

Beginners wear comfortable clothing that you can move in without restriction. We dance in bare feet. During winter socks may be worn.

Hawaiian/Tahitian Hula Classes
Wahine/Kane (Adult 18 & up /*Teens 13 thru 17yrs)
Keiki (*Children 6-12yrs)

West African Dance Classes
Ages 6 & up

*Instructor reserves the right to remove student from class

Tuition
Private Class: $50.00 hr.

Private classes by appointment.
Intermediate, Advance and **Performance by invitation only

Single Class (Group): $10.00 per class

*Monthly Tuition Plans
+Adult Individual Plan: $30.00 Month
1 class per week (4 total per month)
$20.00 per each additional weekly class

Adult Buddy Plan: $30.00 1st student
$20.00 2nd student
(Limit 2 students on plan)
$20.00 each additional class per student.

Family Plan: $30.00 1st student
$20.00 2nd student
$10.00 ea. additional family member
and/or each additional class per week.
Family members must reside in same household.

Discounts
+Spirit of Women Members receive 3rd month free on the +Individual Plan. Not to be combined with any other discount.
5% discount with 3 month pre-pay.^
10% discount with 9 month pre-pay. ^

*Based on 1 class per week, 4 classes per month. Payment due on 1st class of month.
**Community Volunteer as well as Employment opportunities available for Performance class participants.
+Individual Plan only. No other discounts to be applied.

^Only when paid in full prior to first class. Not available with Spirit of Women discount on Individual Plan.
